Job Description

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join our Mijung Jarjums Kids in Mind program. Mijung Jarjums Kids in Mind is an early intervention service, developed to improving wellbeing and resilience of children and young people, their families and carers, so they can thrive. This position requires a practitioner who is passionate about delivering positive outcomes for children and young people, by providing flexible, responsive, practical support using creativity, play and the young person’s own interests.

This is a part time position, 4 days per week, currently funded until 30 June 2026.

We are looking for candidates that:

  • Have experience delivering one on one sessions with children, young people and their families.
  • Have experience providing high quality, client-centred, therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and children.
  • Have experience delivering child and youth focused groups to meet the needs of the community
  • Understands the importance of building strong relationships with key stakeholders, communities and other services providers, to promote best outcomes for young people.
  • Are highly organised individuals who are flexible and able to manage a high case load, while ensuring KPI's are met.
  • Can work with integrity when delivering support and interventions in alignment with the programs objectives.
